Lake Gatun Jungle Safari Tour from Panama City
Constructed between 1906 and 1914 to make the Panama Canal possible, Lake Gatun is situated in the heart of the Isthmus of Panama. Your day of adventure will take you to the waters of this, the world's most famous, man-made lake.
From the lake's shore, board a fast motor launch for a voyage of discovery, navigating above ancient routes that crossed the isthmus long before the creation of the lake. Huge ocean-going ships can be seen transiting across this water bridge that links the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. See history in the making with the works to expand the canal.
Glide past lush tropical forests to a scenic region of the lake and witness firsthand the splendor and excitement of the jungle. Exotic birds, monkeys, sloths, iguanas and crocodiles are just a few of the animals you can view in their native surroundings. The sights, sounds, and scents that make up this tropical paradise will engulf you. The ultimate destination will be the only floating house on the lake, a three-story structure with plenty of room for you to relax and enjoy the day. A delicious native-style lunch with refreshments will be served (included). Afterwards, numerous activities are available at no additional cost. Explore on your own while kayaking, swimming and fishing. Or, if you prefer, just relax on-board and sip a cool drink while taking in the beauty of the rainforest and the lake. There is a cash bar and gift shop where you can purchase unique souvenirs.

There is a $6.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown at checkout includes any fuel surcharges, service charges and tax. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Panama COVID-19 Protocols Update
Panama is open to fully vaccinated international travelers. A negative Covid-19 test is required for un-vaccinated travelers. For un-vaccinated travelers from "high risk" countries, quarantine is required with the full cost of quarantine borne by the traveler.
Please Note: If it rains you get wet! Wear shoes that can handle a little dirt/mud.
